  - At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river will begin rising again tonight
    as routed flow from upstream begins to arrive.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 20.9 feet early
    Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  of agricultural land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.9 feet and rising.
  - Recent Activity...The rapid rise of the river from the
    overnight heavy rain has ended. A slower rise will commence
    as routed flow from upstream begins to arrive.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.4
    feet Thursday evening. It will then rise to 17.8 feet
    Tuesday, May 28. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Iowa, including the following
  county, Butler.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Streams are still rising in some
  areas due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. In addition,
  significant ponding remains in place. It will take several hours
  for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage
  systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 855 AM CDT, Emergency management reported that flooding
    continues across the warned area. Several roads remain closed
    due to water over the roads.
